Reminds me of Land Between the Lakes Elk & Bison Prairie, which I also liked. Good to note if you have a pet that they are not allowed in vehicles according to their website. Thought it was neat that some of the elk were obtained...More

After multiple failed attempts to see the elk at Cataloochee and Oconaluftee, I penciled this park into our visit in St. Louis as a long shot to kill some down time. Imagine my surprise when we pulled in and...OMG, there they are! Then the bison...More

Travelling bumper to bumper at a pace so the people in front of you can snap pictures was the only upsetting feature to this park. Wish someone were there to monitor this selfish act. But to those who like Missouri's animals , there is a...More

They are open everyday at 8, enjoy! There is also a burd sanctuary on the same road, on the rightside right before Lone Elk park that has many beautiful eagles.
