Wonderful park!

Just go! A zoo, art museum, world fair cites, fountains, and much more! We had bike rentals and biked all around the park, so beautiful and an amazing way to spend the day!

We came to the park on the 19th of February. Supposed to be winter right. The warm ,sunny ,gorgeous day was so much fun ,we fed ducks. played frisbee, rode bikes ,visited the botanical garden ,had a picnic lunch.and then just acted silly for a couple of hours. I truly believe this is one of the best city parks anywhere... More

There are many things to do, the Zoo, Art Museum, Science museum and History Museum all reside in the park. There is an outdoor theather with great Broadway shows through the summer called the Muny, with a free seat section available. This Municipal Opera also host the worlds largest car show in the parking lots each Easter Sunday. There is... More

I have lived in the StL area all my life and Forest Park is the go to place for a fun, relaxing day. Most of the buildings there are from the 1904 Worlds Fair, and are beautiful. The St. Louis Zoo is located in Forest Park and it's free to the public. The Art Museum is located at the top... More

Our park is one of the country's largest..larger than Central Park in New York! It's home to our world famous Free Zoo, our Muny, our Art Museum, our Jewel Box, our golf course, and multiple ball fields, Dwight Davis tennis courts, our History Museum, and our Planetarium. So many fun things to see and do. Almost all are free!

I've traveled around the world and have to tell you that Forest Park rates up there with Central Park. So much beauty and open space. Not to mention the Zoo, Art Museum, etc. the perfect place for a family picnic, or reunion!

this is an excellent and huge park for families, runners, kids and people who like to walk, with a lake, paths, great maintenance, a zoo and tons of activities for everyone. It is also next to the St. Louis Art Museum, and has a great restaurant on the lake, called the Boathouse.

The museum I was planning on was closed so I stop there for ideas and they were happy to help me figure out something else to do and then they told me about an hidden gem of an accessible playground just to the side of the visitor center.
