Forest Park has everything you need for a beautiful day or more actually. The boathouse has excellent food and the view is to die for. Forest Park is a pretty park packed with plenty of enjoyable venues. Great history museum. Great art museum. Adjacent to one of the best zoos in the U.S., and by far THE BEST FREE zoo hands down. Plan a day of it-visit the History Museum, the Art Museum, then on to the Zoo, & if you can, the Cathedral Basilica nearby to top if off! Or 2 days!!
