This place could be cool & interesting because of the history (supposedly where the founder of St Louis first landed on shore) but it died not live up to the hype. The streets are old brick & narrow & the buildings look interesting but it's a ghost town. There are a few bars/restaurants but at 7:30 on Saturday night there... More

This is a very historical area and it looks neat. Even the roads are made of old brick. There just wasn't that much to do there. Maybe if we had been there in the evening time instead of mid-morning, but the place was almost deserted.

We were scamed in the parking lot across from The Old Spaghetti Factory. My daughter paid for her and her husband in another vehicle. When we left there had been a shift change and the guy made us pay another $10 because we only received one ticket when we came in. Besides that when we parked, there was a couple... More

From previous experience we knew Laclede's Landing was kind of a failed tourist experiment, but we thought we would see if things had improved. They hadn't.....disappointed again. This is part of the historic area of St. Louis at the foot of the Eads Bridge. Cobblestone and brick streets and preserved buildings.....but nothing really there to do or see.

I love walking areas with charming architecture and river views. Love to go in the shops and restaurants, cafes and bars. During the day, at least, only two restaurants were open and the streets were like a deserted town. Lovely architecture and cobble stone streets and path along the river. No people, no shops, very disappointing. Maybe it gets better... More

A must stop while in St. Louis ! Beautiful and historical buildings and cobbled streets make this a beautiful stop in St. Louis. Mostly bars and restaurants there- but the historical ambience was beautiful! Even got some awesome views of Gateway Arch from here. All for free!😄

We stopped at Laclede's Landing so that I could take a few pictures of the old bridges, water way, and the brick streets. We stopped 9:00a and the establishments were not open. Worth the stop if you like to take pictures.

Altho there were a couple of things here that were interesting, for the most part it just looks like businesses are closing and moving out. Im not sure how it would be down here at night but seemed like there was a lot of garbage etc in the neighborhood. Was really disappointed when i got here as I thought it... More

We walked down to check out Laclede's Landing on a recent family weekend in Saint Louis. We were on the search for ice cream for our daughters. There's not much there. Most of the buildings are vacant. There are a few restaurants but it's not worth the walk, especially if you have young ones in tow. The area has potential... More

I love spending time at Laclede's Landing....They have awesome stores to shop at, Nice Restaurants with both inside and outside dining options. And if you love to people watch as much as I do this is the place to go. You can ride a horse drawn carriage and take a ride, which I love doing. They are a little pricey... More
