The Compton Hill Reservoir Park is open the first Saturday of every month and one day a month during a full moon. It costs $5 for adults, $3 for kids and is free for children under 6 to scale the 198 steps to the top....More

Lucky enough to climb to the top one evening this April. The tower was open for the full moon viewing. Stunning tower with lovely city views.

We climbed the 198 steps to the top! Yes 198 steps. But there are platforms that you can stop and take a break if you need to. The view at the top is amazing! You can see all of St Louis, including the Arch. Nice...More

I've seen this structure from the interstate and never went to check it out until this weekend. It is a well preserved very old water tower. Check to see when you can go inside for a tour.
