We didn't go inside .. this is a cool old building ..looked like something from Europe . .maybe Germany or Prague to me ... would have loved to see inside. We just happened by it.

What a beautiful historic building right in the down area, near the arch. The interior is spectacular with marble, iron railings a fantastic ceiling. If you enjoy old buildings, don't miss this

I enjoy photographing interiors. The Old City Hall features a large lobby/atrium with beautiful marble stairs and railings along with a stunning ceiling. It's worth taking the time to enter the building for this view. To enter, you must pass through security, but the guards...More

Make a quick stop inside and look for two wall displays. The first will be a memorial to fallen soldiers from WW1. It breaks down how they died including gas attacks. The second tells the story of an ill fated glider demonstration. Worth a look!

This is one of the oldest buildings , looks like no other style building in the saint louis area . Large darker building I could look at it all day . They just dont make buildings like this anymore . Looks like it should be...More

We went by this building several times during our stay in St. Louis, and my wife could not get over how awesome its appearance was.

i have never had a good experience or a nice worker experience at this place in over 30 years. it will never change. but the building always looks good and so do the floors.

The exterior is very cool looking. It reminds me of a haunted house. The interior is a bit shabby and rundown looking though.

Its more appealing architecturally than something built in the 70's, but its functions and frustrations are the same for anyone at any city hall anywhere else in the country. Also, I'm not sure why the only picture here associated with city hall doesn't actually show...More
