Spent a couple of hours here with our grandkids... Wonderful way to teach them about the history of aviation.. They were especially interested in the missles and the Gemini space capsule... The models and displays are top notch. Free to get in and free posters of the different planes and the Blue Angels as well as a lot of other... More

This place is a real hidden gem. It's a relatively small museum but it is packed with cool stuff. If you are in St. Louis and near the airport, this is definitely worth an hour or so. It's like the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum Lite. If you have kids that are at all interested in aerospace science (or you... More

I used to work for McDonnel-Douglas aerospace company and they had this great room you could visit that was a museum for aerospace, the Prologue Room. It is only open during the week and only from 9-4 but it is one of the coolest places to visit, especially with kids over the age of 9-10. The rather large room has... More

It has been a while since we visited this place, but I went to the Prologue Room during an open house for the families of employees and former employees of McDonnell/Douglas/Boeing. It is a museum with exhibits of the work done in St. Louis covering the military, commercial and space exhibits. A very good experience

The Prologue Room is only open to the public during summer, but it is free to visit, and is a fairly interesting place for anyone interested in history or aviation. I liked how comprehensive the Prologue Room’s collection of scale model McDonnell Douglas-related aircraft is; they are interesting to look at, convey history, and show how military and commercial planes... When it was McDonnell Douglas the Prologue Room was informative. With the merger of McDonnell and Boeing the additional Boeing exhibits make it a great place for aviation buufs to review some very impressive aviation history.
