Great selection of beers from a local brewery taproom.

Outdoor seating views views across the fields.

Good selection of cans and bottles as well as fresh beer on tap.

Wines, soft drinks, bar snacks and charcuterie available, plus occasional food trucks.

Visited yesterday for a friend’s birthday party. What a brilliant place! So friendly and so informative. Super dog friendly and made us and our Labrador so welcome. Superb beers and the ‘special’ cider served in a flute was second to none. I cannot rate our visit highly enough, you have to visit. Thank you to all!

Great beer, friendly team, chilled out taproom atmosphere. Better than pubs, in my opinion, taprooms provide an informal vibe to try local independent beers; cellar head is among the best in the area.

Beer/cider is obviously a step up (it’s a brewery you do kind of expect that!) what you don’t expect is a very cool atmosphere one heck of a view, bar snacks are tasty and go with the beers. Look forward to going more

Nice friendly vibe.
3 beers on tap but lots of choice for bottle beer.
Made very welcome on a cold day with the added bonus of the heater placed next to our table.
We enjoyed the meat and cheese platters to share, large serving and fabulous local cheeses.
Limited parking but you can park in the lane.
It's a lovely walk to bewl water

I can't speak highly enough of Cellar Head Brewing Company and Tap room. We walked a good few miles from our campsite to try it out and were met by the most welcoming and friendly staff in in a beautifully presented bar & shop area with lovely seating out the front.

The charcuterie board was fantastic value, paired with some of the best brewed beer we've had in a long time, it was a great combination.

The beer and food whilst excellent can't compare to the hospitality and friendliness we received from the staff and also the regular customers of the brewery, they made us feel so welcomed, like we had been regulars for years.

This place is worth a visit wherever you are based. You will get to taste amazing beer, brewed by wonderful, kind and lovely people, the best way to drink!

If it was possible to give it a higher rating on here I would. Cellar Head Brewing Company and Tap Room is a must visit!

It's fair to say, over the last few months everything has been very different for us all.

Businesses are not sure what's happening, not sure how to deal with the crisis and not sure how to keep things rolling.
For customers, we're not sure how to behave in new venues, the rules and regulations, the expectations of trade or the intricacies of a place

So for me, right now, I'm not comfortable walking into new shops, bars, restaurants etc, I'm like a rabbit in the headlights looking for some guidance.

I got to say, on entering Cellar Head Bar, the reception was cold, blank and uncomfortable.

I've been trying to do my part by helping small businesses out, like these guys, but I really wish I hadn't bothered, on entering the bar/shop I asked about beers being sold for taking away, I was pointed to the fridge and told: "that's it, that's all we got, if it's not in there then we don't have it".
I thought to myself fair enough, but it's not like I've even asked for anything specific.
After browsing for 5 mins with two guys staring me out from behind the bar, all I could see was IPA after IPA, not what I wanted, anyway, I grabbed a keg headed to the bar to pay.

As I turned my back to walk away, the guy who served me turned to the other and said: "that's another one" - I didn't think much of it and walked out, on exiting the venue (which you have to walk through the people sat outside on benches) the tannoy system blared out with the same message, obviously there was some "in-joke' going on, but I hadn't even left the place and people were shouting and laughing about it and looking at me...
It made me feel very awaked and desperate just to get out of the place and frankly, it all felt a bit immature.
Really disappointing, I won't go back and I won't recommend to anyone.

To make matters worse, the "IPA" tasted like a bitter, looked like a bitter and was rather bland... Anyway, that was my experience...

Ben. We are very disappointed that your experience at Cellar Head wasn’t a positive one. We pride ourselves on our brewery and tap room being a welcoming and friendly place to be for beer lovers and novices alike. Your comments are very far from the normal feedback we receive so we would like to have a chat to ascertain what went wrong on this occasion. If you have a moment, please give Chris a call on 01580 879523.

Thank you Cellar Head for cheering us up during lockdown, my partner & myself have missed the pubs & can say ordering from Cellar Head has been nothing but pleasant, easy & refreshing. The beer is always fresh & enjoyable! The service received, the delivery on time every time & the smiley happy lady who delivers & all the rest has been so hugely appreciated & we wish to say a massive thank you to you all. We appreciated the good will gesture that arrived at our door today & can say another order will be requested in a day or so without a doubt, Fantastic service, beer & a brilliant Company! I live 1 mile from the brewery and didn't know it was there until I saw it on trip advisor.
I had been out for a ride and my bike developed a problem so I limped it over to Quench cycles in Bedgebury Forest for repair. As I left the Forest to join the A21 I smelt that lovely hoppy aroma in tha air which reminded me of Cellar Head so I took the opportunity of calling in.
I was given a warm welcome by Chris and being lunch time I decided to sit outside with a cheeseboard and had two of the beers which were very nice.
The place has a nice feel to it and the view over Bewl towards Wadhurst is beautiful.
I will be back.
