My seven and eight-year-old sons had a great time fishing in the stocked pond with Max. He was very engaging and it was one of the highlights of our recent vacation to Big Sky. Highly recommended!

Went fishing with Fly Fishing Guide Mike in the middle of August when fishing on the river is at its hardest. I have not been fly fishing in 25 plus years since I was a kid. Mike was able to put me back in to...More

Just got back from another trip to Big Sky. The fall fishing was excellent! We are very familiar with the Gallatin and the small streams feeding into it and will fish it on our own. However, we always like to use a guide to fish...More

Hi, my mother and I are planning a trip in October for my birthday. After fishing, will we be allowed to keep the fish? Thank you!

Hello! Thanks for your email. We'd love to get you on the water in October. Are you thinking of a guided trip(s)? All of our guided trips are catch and release--we like to put the fish back so we can catch them again and... More

My son has arranged a trip to Big Sky the 1st week of August. He would like to take a float trip like we did many years ago on the White River in Arkansas. I'm not sure how many people will do the float trip at this point (I'm guessing between 5 & 8). I do know that, originally being from Kansas, none of us have ever fly fished before. When we fished the white River it was with live bait. Do you have float trips using live bait or know of guides that do this. I'm sure that you must think of this as a sacrilege. Failing all the previously mentioned, is it possible to learn the art and still be able to fish all in the same day? Thanking you in advance. Phil Kendall
