A drive thru experience

As in almost all of Montana Rocky Mountain areas, the scenery is breath taking. Gods work at its finest.

Have someone else drive, as you take the passenger's seat to bask in one of the most beautiful canyons in the West! The trout-filled Gallatin River weaves in and out of the Gallatin Range, home to such real estate developments as Big Sky, Moonlight Basis, and the millionaires' Yellowstone Club. Stay on the highway and avoid most of the trophy... More

Long driving vistas replete with wildlife and snow in May! Roads were in good shape and many coffee huts along the way.

A beautiful drive with many scenic pullouts and chances to stop for food and drink. The 191 south takes you directly to Hebgen Lake, West Yellowstone and the Yellowstone National Park entrance, the wolf exhibit and the bear exhibit, and at the 49 mile marker takes you west to Big Sky Ski Resort and many shops along the way.

Around every turn you will find a different view. Drive carefully during winter months and look for wild animals down in the river and look up on mountainsides for goats

this is one of the most scenic drives in SW Montana- soaring cliffs, beautiful river alongside road, forests and wildlife. Driver must pay attention to road as curves can be tough. Definitely worth the drive to Big Sky or West Yellowstone

I had read that the Gallatin Gateway is a wonderful scenic drive and that wasn't a lie. From I-90 just west of Bozeman, Montana the drive begins on Hwy 191 going south along the Gallatin River. It was October and a drizzly, overcast day but with the leaves turning colours the scenery was beautiful. With a sprinkling of snow on... More

We were just driving from Bozeman to Big Sky on our way to West Yellowstone NP. It was a very scenic drive with picturesque landscape whereever you glanced! :-)

Revisiting my youth. Place has changed a lot in 50 years. The good news is that the whole area is thriving, the bad is that prices are insane. Still, a beautiful place, great fishin and friendly folks.
