Nice drive to Hyalite Reservoir then a short hike to the falls. Very easy. Wonderful photo ops which I took advantage of. Great way to spend a few hours in the mountains.

Lovely hike...abt 45 mins from downtown...last 10 miles on gravel road. Easy walk up paved path to a kewl/cool beautiful view on a hot day downtown. Worth the trip...totally!

The 1.4 mile hike (there and back) is on a paved trail. It is an easy hike that could be done be virtually anyone. The falls are spetacular.THis hike can be done in tennis shoes.

No, you cannot fish at the actual falls. As earlier post states, there is a large lake you cross over on way to falls that would be perfect for fishing. Go visit falls and then stop to fish on way back. Big parking lot to... More
