Lots of signs

There aren't a lot of cars but those that are there are interesting. What there is a lot of is signs and other road and automobile memorabilia including some pretty unusual stuff.

A small museun filled with lots of items from days gone by. The museum is free although donations are nice and there is lots of great history and different items. An enjoyable time to wander through and wonder or remember.

The last couple visits to Butte the car museum was closed. This last visit was during evel kinieval days and the museum was open so we stopped in. They ask for a $3 donation which was totally fine to see all the antique cars and memorabilia. Doesnt take alot of time 15-20 mins., but worth a look!

I asked a local who was walking by if he knew why & he replied (paraphrasing): "She doesn't really have set hours; she just opens whenever she wants." I was leaving town that day so I didn't get to see the museum. It might be all right but make sure... More
