We paddled through the White Cliffs, which are white sandstone. They are beautiful and takes you back in time to when Lewis and Clark first saw them. The night skies are lovely away from all the light pollution. You realize how short a human life span is compared to the rock!

The quiet, the wild life, the gorgeous untouched views of nature. The disconnect from technology......so refreshing to read, think, and talk with each other. Dislike, the muddy muddy river.

Jump in canoe and go see something absolutely amazing. Well worth the effort. Wildlife galore. Still how Lewis and Clark described it.

The Breaks were pristine and beautiful. Wildlife was plentiful and the river majestic. Staying on the river is necessary as the Breaks take about six days although you have the option of leaving half way. Use an outfitter to move your vehicle and it will be waiting for you at the other end.

Has to go by the Missouri River to really appreciate them. Was not aware of their existence until I go there.

Historian Stephen Ambrose wanted the White Cliffs of the Missouri to be made a national park, and it's easy to see why. This incredible stretch of the Missouri River has been designated "Wild and Scenic," and a boat or canoe ride takes you through miles of incredible rock formations, worn down by time into fantastical shapes that resembles ancient fortresses,...
