Beautiful trail with sites of Missouri River and Black Eagle Falls at one end and Rainbow Dam at the other. Great for families to walk, bike, or run. Take your 4 legged friends on leashes of course. Take a walk on the north or south sides... you won't be disappointed.

Take a long walk along the river and go as far as you want. We start at Gibson Park and usually walk to the lookout over the dam. On a hot day take lots of water although there are drinking fountains along the way. There are some picnic tables also along the way, so you can stop and enjoy the... More

This a good place to get out for a walk and see the way the city got its name. It is a well maintained trail with rest spots along the way and various places to park if you only want a brief walk

Very nice trail right behind our hotel. Quite a view of the river and lots of information about the local area.

We took an early morning stroll from the Lewis and Clark Information Center (it was not open yet when we were there) down to the Giant Springs fish hatchery. It was a lovely riverside walk - lots of birds to see, fish jumping, etc. Lovely!

This is a nice walking, running, jogging or bicycle trail along the Missouri River and you can walk for miles on the trail. Very attractive scenery and you can fish in several places if you want to on the river. A nice place to walk your dogs also.

Like benchs along river to sit and view the area. Always something special to see along with lots of geese to greet you. A must stroll and take the time to visit the trail

Awful potholed road getting there and a big disappointment on arrival. I cannot recommend wasting gas visiting this place.

The system includes over 25 miles of paved urban trail with numerous trailheads accessible via city streets, in addition to the 30+ miles of rural hiking and single track mountain bike trails. I am not quite certain which section,if any, of the River's Edge Trail is referred to here. More

Without a doubt, the River's Edge trail is the best of it's kind in the state, affording beautiful scenery, historical information, and a lot of miles to explore. With it being on both sides of the Missouri River and several bridges to get from one side to the other, it is a great recreational attraction. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive... More

Our family visits here once a week. Feed the trout for a nickle, walk through the well maintained park. Gaze at the massive rainbow trout, and look at one of the most beautiful springs in the lower 48. No complaints. Fairly quiet too as not enough folks have discovered this gem.
