I did not travel to this site, I was once part of it. If you are of the aptitude of studying primitive peoples, this is a good spot. There however are better interpretive centers around. One at Ulm MT, and another called "Head Smashed In"...More

Great Historical significance! Managers are retiring so hope the Native community can manage this in the future. Three separate buildings full of archeological discoveries and actual bones and blood in the clay. Enjoyed the guide and learned so much!! Traveled from the top to site...More

This looks like a small place that might not capture too much history, but it certainly does. The guides are very informative and the preservation of the dig sights is fascinating!

We dropped in quickly on our way out of Havre. You can see a little bit from the top and get an idea of what this site is all about without paying for the guided tour (which is what we did) but the only way...More

The Wahkpa Chu'gn site doesn't look like much at first, but don't let that deter you from going on tour. This site is full of archeological treasures and left in place for you to see. Ancient peoples up to 2000 years ago used this site...More
