My wife and I enjoyed a 2 1/2 hour visit to this museum. So much to see. A lot of the museum is related to the history of Montana. There is also a military Museum on the third floor that should not be missed.

This was a great place to visit with outstanding historical content. A great resource of native American artifacts and history from their perspective. A great place to take children to study the native American culture.

This tour and gift shop are a great experience to learn about Lewis and Clark and local history for Montana. People are friendly and professional. The mini train tour right outside gives you a great historic tour of the town for a nominal cost. The...More

Very well done, well worth the very cheap admission price. We also went to Butte to the mining museum about an hour drive, this was better.

Exhibits covering state history carefully lay out the full story from territory to statehood . For me the highlight was the Charles Russel room- Momtans most famous artist.

They have really nice displays for western Mt. It's a little small, bit packed with a lot of info. Rotates displays, so there has been calvary, native american, and Bill Russell to name afew.

How neat to see all of the artifacts from Mt history. They have a neat little store inside where you can pick yourself up a memento to save as a great memory and reminder

Although I had precious little time before a planned afternoon meeting, I so wanted to tour the museum. So I took two hours out of a jam-packed day to take the self-guided tour. And how very glad I did. The C.M.Russell gallery alone was worth...More
