This tour was very interesting. The rich history behind the mansion was very interesting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Being from Dayton, OH, it was a surprise to know that the guide was from Kettering, OH.

This is another must do when in Helena. Cost was $4.00 each. Very good price for what you will see. The Mansion is simply magnificent! You will not be disappointed. To see how our Governor lived way back when, is nice to see. All the fancy wood work is just perfect and beautiful.

This Govenors mansion is in a historical neighborhood with many old homes within sight. Easy neighborhood to walk thru and photo opportunities

Very informative tour conducted by Bobbie! This mansion, like so many historical places has survived numerous changes over the years. The historical Society has done an incredible job of restoring this building back to it original grandeur. The guide was very sweet. Gave us a tour. It was interesting. Cost was minimal. and she had some cute tales about the families that had lived there.

The home is under construction and not available for tours when we visited the end of May 2016. No notice of when it would be opened.

A visit to this 100 year old mansion is always worth your time. The woodwork, furnishings, textiles, glass and stone work are intricate and come from all around the world. Montana's Original Governor's Mansion is the most historic home in Montana and it is a very cool place. There is so much history here. Great example of the architecture of the time. Beautifully mantained. Guides are very pleasant and knowledgable. If you like history and buildings, this is a must stop while in Helena. Be sure to plan ahead, and check on scheduled times of operation.
