Hungry and no other place near the Yellowstone entrance. Didn't expect much but it was great. Yummy choices.

After the 32 mile drive on dirt roads (Loved it) we got to Polebridge - because everyone said their baked goods were heavenly. They were right! My bride had the huckleberry bear claws - to die for - and I had their bread. We bought another loaf for toast in our cabin and enjoyed it for three more days. Certainly... More

who doesn't like a good bakery? Especially when it is in the middle of no where! Great huckleberry bear claws. It is the last stop before the NW entrance to Glacier National Park.

We stumbled upon this place while road tripping it around Glacier Park. Walked inside the store and there was a line 15 people long to by baked goods. The caramel rolls are huge! Nice, peaceful beer garden just outside the store too (also a café). What fun discovering this gem of a place!

Quirky spot. DON'T use the outdoor restroom. It is next level disgusting. The bakery is solid and everything is incredibly overpriced, but hey, we've been to Polebridge! 😀😉

Lots of old historic items and pictures inside the Mercantile, and out. They are very well known for their fresh-baked pastries, and people come from miles around to enjoy them. They also sell t-shirts and other souvenirs, including books and locally made items. It really is well worth the trip over miles of unpaved roads to see this place first... More

General store with awesome 'bear claws' and great fresh sandwiches. A must visit if you're in the GNP/North Fork area!

Go here for real people, real food, and to be real far from everything else. I has a modern hippie vibe, survives off of solar power, and seems to be an honest, wonderful place to spend time.

What a cool stop. We got some coffee and huckleberry bearclaws. Geez Louise! Very friendly proprietors and quality food. Sat down inside the mercantile to eat our bearclaws and the conversation with other visitors just flowed. Everybody sharing experiences from Glacier National Park and the surrounding area. Do visit Polebridge Mercantile, but approach slowly. The road is dirt and dust... More

Great baked goods (And quite a variety), plus coffee drinks, beer, and souvenirs. awesome stop to make, esp if you'd like to visit the lakes in upper Glacier (you go through Polebridge to get to Bowman Kinta. Note: Kinta is quite a drive). and if you stay in the cabins there, its a nice resource to have (in addition to... More
