Great quirky place. Chico has a fantastic restaurant, so don't miss dinner or breakfast. The main lodge is fun, but rustic. You may have to share a bathroom if you are roughing it. The small cabins are great. Quiet and removed from the party atmosphere of the pool and bar. Hot pools are amazing, but can be crowded on the... More

What to do on a snow-stormy, sub-freezing, zero-visibility day during a visit to Yellowstone? Drive up to Pray and have a soak at Chico Hot Springs. The water's warm, the folks are friendly, and the food is surprisingly good.

I have been to Chico many times, have stayed in many different rooms including the north 40 cabins and have never found one thing to complain about. I like the fact that the water isn't sulphurous and that they don't need to add chlorine to keep it sanitized. The big pool is usually around 96 to 98 degrees and the... More

It was very crowded when we got there. Spring break. It is nice that they have a "hot" side of the pool for adults. The actual pool was crazy full of kids. I liked that they had a bar right next to the pool too. I would like to come back and stay here when it's a little less busy.

The resort, room, restaurant, saloon and hot springs pools were fantastic. The employees were very helpful and friendly. All the meals were some of the best and unique we've ever had. I would very much recommend it to anyone.

Make sure you have brunch here. Any meal in the dining room is fantastic, I really love the morning buffet though. They pull out all the stops on Sunday mornings and you can have made to order omelets, roast beef, smoked salmon, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, potatoes, mimosas, and on and on. The hot springs are great too and... More

A great stopover on the way to Yellowstone. The hotel has various options for staying the night and there are stables, horses, wagon rides, dog sledding , snowshoeing and hiking in the area. The place has a large hall for weddings, programs or banquets. It is a very peaceful place and the natural hot springs are wonderful!

hot springs are a great way to relax in the mountains! Perfect after a hike in Yellowstone or a horseback ride from the on-site stable.
