We dropped in to the Roman on a whim because we wanted to watch a movie in the oldest theater in Montana. It was so cool inside; a little worn but still in possession of it's historic charm. The staff were friendly and the prices were a little less than average ($8 full price admission) but the best part was... More

Montana's oldest movie theater, originally opened in 1917. It definitely retains that classic old movie theater feel. It's truly a gem and adds to Red Lodge's unique charm. A lot of people that come to Red Lodge are just visiting the area and may think sitting through a movie would be the last thing they should spend part of their... More

Saw Spectre over Thanksgiving break and loved to see how well kept the theatre was and that it was alive and well with all digital projection and audio.

A very old theater in downtown Red Lodge, has a fun feel inside. Most of the seats are old wooden seats fitting the theater vintage. But there a couple couches and recliners that have been brought in, very funny but somehow works very well. I don't even like caramel corn, but it smells so good in there, almost had to... More

Truly unmissable - grand old theatre that has certainly seen better days, yet retains real charm and character. Friendly and welcoming staff, good value and lovely comfy couches. Absolute highlight is the delicious homemade caramel popcorn - worth a visit for that alone, regardless of what movie is showing!

This place is like stepping back in time... Every trip to Red lodge includes a movie night... Some times the building is cold ...I just move to a couch...I love the new equipment ....

What a great movie house. They have regular movie seats, then they also have small couch sets, which is great for couples that want to sit together!!
