Long winding road to get to the park, but with it! Beautiful 1 mile nature loop around Giant cedar trees that you can't wrap your arms around. Smelled great too!

The road to the grove is worrisome as it is difficult to get two cars through at the same time. Deep concern about facing down an RV was constant for the 3 miles going to and coming back from the grove. However it is a...More

June is probably the best month to visit. The one mile trail is really lovely and an easy walk. Follow the "Nature Loop" signs. Such a peaceful, cool environment. No park fees. Pit toilets

Worth a trip. Very nice stroll through huge, old trees and meandering water. Kid friendly and great for photographers.

I have been through the cedars many times and the best time to go is Spring/early summer when the water is running. But even later in the summer this place is impressive. If you are in the Troy area, this is a must.

Walking through the cedars I kept asking myself, am I really in Montana? It is an easy walk through the trails and the size of the cedar trees are incredible. Extend your trip as it is a must see if you are visiting Kootenai Falls.

We had heard about this cedar grove so decided to investigate. We were overwhelmed when we got there. The park is definitely off the beaten path but worth the effort. The signage and short walking loop facilitate your visit.
