One Fabulous Day and One So-So Day
Jan 2021
We did two consecutive days of snowmobiling - Old Faithful and Canyon - with Two Top and had one fabulous experience and one that could have been better. The organization is well run and organized. Even though there are many tours gathering in the morning, their check in system works smoothly. Our first tour to Old Faithful was led by Amy. She is a superb guide: very knowledgeable, keeps the tour running efficiently, and is simply a fun person to be around. She knew we were interested in wildlife photography and had good cameras/lens and she looked very hard for photo opps we could take advantage of without inconveniencing our other tours member who weren't interested in photography. It's a balancing act and she did a great job. She really has an excellent eye for spotting wildlife. Along with the ever present bison, she spotted great coyote, trumpeter swan and bald eagle photo opps. At the end of the day everyone in our group seemed happy and felt we got our money's worth and then some. Two thumbs way up to Amy!! The next day we went to Canyon with a young man whose name I won't mention. We knew the trip to Canyon was longer and required more riding as opposed to photo opps but we were quite disappointed in how our time was utilized. We made two extended bathroom break stops as well as what seemed like a very long lunch stop. The people in the tour were prompt - that wasn't the issue - we waited on our guide who seemed more interested in chatting than leading the tour. After lunch, we had assumed we would be able to make a quick stop at Norris Geyser Basin but our guide said we didn't have time and would just look for wildlife on the way back. We made a few stops for bison that were vast distances away. Our guide said we would take the "Riverside" turn off to look for animals which was great since we had had some good sightings the previous day in this area. When we turned off, our guide kept going 30+ mph. There was no ability to look for animals at this speed. Our guide finally made one stop near the end of the drive - not because he saw anything but because "its where he always stops". From people behind us we learned we had missed the chance to see otters on the river bank. We were one of the first groups back to the office - about 3:45 . . . So, its well run company, with top quality machines, in a fabulous location and if you get a strong guide you'll have an amazing experience. If you get a weak guide, well, the scenery is still magnificent!

10/10 Amazing Winter Adventure in Yellowstone
Jan 2021 • Couples
My husband and I went on our first snowmobile guided tour and it was amazing!! Our tour guide Justin provided safety guidelines before leaving the shop and told us fun facts about the park throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable and loved to answer any and all questions we had. We stopped at Old Faithful for lunch and we stopped to take photos of the wildlife in the park. 10 out of 10 would recommend Two Top for guided tours or renting their snowmobiles. The machines were up to date and comfortable. We rented snowmobile snow suits for the day journey, which kept us warm the whole time. We are excited to go visit Yellowstone again in the future!

Visited in early January to snowmobile. First stop on our own for the day was Two Top. The views were beautiful, saw for miles and miles. The trees were beautiful covered in snow.

Snowmobiling in Yellowstone
Feb 2020 • Friends
Snowmobiling in Yellowstone was the highlight of our trip! We had excellent guides for two days of tours. Graham was an excellent guide for our tour to Old Faithful. He was very knowledgeable about the park and ensured we didn’t miss a thing! We saw lots of bison, coyotes and fox. Additionally, the weather was absolutely perfect! This is hands down, the best way to see Yellowstone!

Best place to rent/tour with
Feb 2020 • Family
My 16 yr old daughter and I rented a two person sled from Two Top and took an escorted tour of Yellowstone to Old Faithful. We rented snowmobile suites, boots, gloves, face mask & helmets for very reasonable price. Our guide Jim was terrific! He had a vast knowledge of the park and a keen eye for spotting wildlife. Obviously, the bison were the main attraction on the trails but we also saw a coyote. Riding on the trail when the bison are just a few feet away from you is a little intimidating, but we just listened to our guide’s directions and had no problems. We caught a rare showing of the fountain geyser that was an amazing”show”. I actually enjoyed that better than Old Faithful. Winter is the best time, in my opinion, to visit the park. The peacefulness & beauty of the snow just can’t compare to the heat & crowds you endure in the summer months. And Two Top is the company to show this special place to you. Reasonable rates & great knowledgeable staff!!

Fun Way to see Yellowstone 🙂
Feb 2020
My son and I did both tours. The Canyon tour gives you more riding and the roads are a little narrower, which we liked. We saw more wildlife on the canyon tour including 2 coyotes, a fox, a bald eagle and lots of bison. On the Old Faithful tour, we only saw bison - but still enjoyed that tour. We used Two Tops clothing and paid for upgraded machines with heated seats, which was worth it. Stayed warm all day. Big trunk on machine that let you stow all your stuff. Our guides were Cameron and Owen - both were friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic.

Great vacation experience. A Must Do!
Feb 2020 • Friends
This experience was absolutely amazing. Group of 6 from the Deep South in Alabama did the self guided tour. The staff could not have been easier to work with. Snowmobile and equipment rental were top of the line. Absolutely stunning views. Rode over 50 miles over perfectly groomed trails. Had received over 6 inches of snow the night before. Will do again!

Top of the world in the winter
Feb 2020
When we left West Yellowstone on our snowmobiles it was flurirng but by the time we reached Two Top the snow had turned into a blizzard. Snow was falling very heavily but the winds blew in from opposite direction. Causing the snow to twirl like a tornado. Tried to turn machines around but got one stuck in the snow as the rear of the sled came off the packed trail. Having traveled these trails, we knew had to turn around and get out of the mountains. We advised others to do the same. Later that day, an avalanche warning was issued because of the depth of all the new snow.
