Last fall, I saw "singing in the Rain" at the Playmill theater. The theater is doing this show again this summer. I wondered how they would ever duplicate the rain in the show. Well---It was fantastic. The lighting and the sound techniques made the rain come alive. It was almost like the Debbie Reynold's movie. My entire club loved it.... More

My husband and I have been in theatre for over forty years (both as actors and directors) and have high expectations when we go to see other performers. I can honestly say we needn't have worried - these young performers were some of the best we have ever seen, so talented, motivated and enthusiastic. The theatre is tiny, but every... More

I've been coming to the Playmill since I was a teenager. I love coming and watching the plays here! The plays are funny, clean, and there is such great talent with the actors and actresses.

One of the best theater groups I've ever seen! the show was amazingly made and very very funny! even the intermission was a great part of the show with the cast running the food and drink sales - still in characters! If you are in Yellowstone, the Playmill is a must visit!!!

We went to see Singing In The Rain, and the production was very good for such a small venue. The actors double as ushers and concession salespeople, but rather than detract from the production it adds to it, making you wonder, “Where do they get all of that energy?” The only disappointment was the air conditioning. At one point it... More

This was our second trip to this wonderful venue. We actually planned a camping trip around our reservations to see "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" since it's about 1.5 hours from home. It was fantastic, running the gammit from uproarious laughter to tears. We previously saw "Singing in the Rain" and it was fabulous! The theater is small, I'm guessing... More

We got to see Mary Poppins here while we were camping in Yellowstone. Our family has since decided that seeing a show at the Playmill will be a yearly tradition for us. It was so fun and the cast did a great job. We were so impressed that such a small theatre put on such an amazing production. Can't wait... More

Do not miss this if you are in West Yellowstone. Upbeat, fun, entertaining. Small, intimate theatre makes this a great experience. The cast usher you in, see you to your seats, sell treats like fudge and ice cream, then entertain you as good as any professional. We saw 7 brides for 7 brothers. The cast put their heart and soul... More

These are college kids putting on a show the very best they can, they work harder than professional actors ever would, they do it all from wandering around the town in costume doing mini performances,to selling the tickets, performing, selling refreshments, lining up out side to say good by after the performance to clean-up,and the talent is on par with some of the performances i... We saw Mary Poppins and it couldn't have been more delightful. The cast is so high energy, so talented, and have a real passion for what they do. The only criticism is that it is very, very stuffy and hot. We had to leave at intermission because we could not take the heat. For people that don't mind heat, the... More
