Two falls; upper and lower. Fantastic view of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. On the South Rim drive, at one of the look outs, we got to see (with binoculars) an Osprey nest with active birds and chick

A beautiful drive along the Yellowstone River. We really enjoyed stopping at the pull-outs and taking pictures. The river was running pretty full and there were a lot of rapids to see. Some people were white water rafting. There is a gate into the Yellowstone...More

First let me say this and it goes for almost all our National Parks! If you don't have patience and be courteous to others. These places may not be for you! Heavy traffic and road construction are common in the National Parks. Especially Yellowstone! Just...More

The Yellowstone was in major flood level when we were there. It is an amazing river that winds all through Montana. One of the last free flowing rivers in the country, it is breathtaking and so versatile. The views are breathtaking and unforgettable

The Yellowstone River has cut a deep canyon through colorful rock. There are many places to see the results, all unique.

We didn't float the river, but we do the overlook and it's beautiful. All of Yellowstone is beautiful.

I have spent so much time in Yellowstone - and I just keep going back. (Worked there for 4 years in college, vacationed there so many times that I've lost count.) From the picture, you're thinking the grand canyon of the Yellowstone, including the upper...More

I love the Yellowstone, especially in Winter. Or Fall. Whenever the most people are gone. :) Be sure to travel to all three of the outlooks for Yellowstone Falls. And walk the trails. Watch for deer and elk in the grass and beneath the trees....More

There are several rafting companies along the Snake River. Frankly I can't recall the name of the one we took, but all seemed to be pretty similar as we passed them along the way. Bundle up though it's pretty chilly out on... More
