This is a wonderful place to take your animals and children for a quiet sunday afternoon. Throw the ball, Fido will retrieve it for you.

This is nearly a daily activity for hounds Ani and Jesi2 to come here, run, hunt, and play. Always a favorite hike area also. Maintenance crew here works hard to keep everything nice for everyone.

A wonderful park with a lake, lots of trees, and many trails. Birding was fabulous, even though the weather was quite overcast.

I live nearby and frequently visit cottonmill lake. Very relaxing. They have a natural swimming pool too. Great if you are sensitive to chlorine.

I like to go fishing here. There is easy access to most areas of the lake. They have a separate swimming beach area. They have a covered area for family picnics and a play area for kids.

If you contact the City of Kearney, they will help you more with these questions. You can also use the shelter for the cover and then set up your own tables and chairs also. Great place to spend the day!!
