I was really impressed with all of the history and information that was in the museum. I thought that this place was a great place to visit when you are in Kearney.

My grandson had a lot of fun making the siron sound and got to ring the bell he also enjoyed playing inside the firetruck and putting on the firefighter outfit and hat.. There are alot of nice pictures and firetrucks to enjoy..

If you have someone in the family or a friend who is a fire fighter you need to see this museum. It is not big nor is it expensive to visit. It has a 1973 caddy ambulance that was still in use till a few...More

This small museum is packed with history and memorabilia that does get changed out yearly. That allows for repeat visits. Good for kids too, because of the fire prevention and safety tips within the museum. Very kid friendly. also, has a quality Memorial Garden behind...More

This is a quick tour that is worth stopping to see. Some of the pictures are fascinating, they even include an iron lung and first ambulance type stuff.

Stopped in when we had an afternoon to fill. Was surprised at the cost of admission $6 for adults, Kids $3. The building is small but has a lot of information inside. The memorial is very nice listing all of the known deaths of Nebraska...More
