This park stretches for several miles along the west edge of Lincoln. It has a nice bike trail with good bridges that stretches the length of the park. This is a great place to get away and enjoy nature, possibly see deer and fox.

Like taking my dogs for walks here. Pretty, peaceful and secluded. Do wish they would mow better and clean up the area better, Kinda getting unruly.

Late afternoon walk with dog. Paths were clean and clear. Guests were friendly and polite. Trails are marked for bikes, hikers or horses. Had no issue finding my way and staying on the hiking trails.

Spent a whole afternoon with relatives and friends. We sang, played, ate together, and took a walk. It was a perfect weather, October 1. I really cannot say too much except that it is a park, and as a park, which means nature, all is...More

I have been coming here since college for a hike to get out of the city. Beautiful trails and great for nature lovers

Wilderness Park is really Lincoln's only choice for wooded hiking. Nice bike trails and plenty of hiking options. Don't forget to stop and see the bison.

A bit of running, walking and nature sight seeing. I would go with a group as it was on the edge of town and there is safety in numbers.

I am fortunate to have grown up on Saltillo Road, a wonderful place to wander. Let your imagination run wild as you travel through the wilderness, much as our ancestors did.

Some reviewers complain about the highway noise and yes, you can hear Rt 77 from the trails, but it's not intrusive and you can still hear the *many* birds, the flow of Salt Creek, and the breeze through the trees. It would be a great...More
