We took the wagon ride first and this was a separate cost. We really enjoyed that more than the trails, because the guide added the history of the Morton family and Arbor Day, as well as a bit of natural history. I think the trails...More

The whole reason we came to Nebraska City was Arbor Day Farms. March is too dreary for a visit here. It was too chilly to take the trails and not much else to do.

Kids loved exploring this park. There are so many innovative playgrounds and sculptures, all made of wood. I love trees so was happy to see all the possibilities and uses of wood.

Even though we visited in February, with no leaves on the trees, the Tree Adventure was awesome. Paved and mulched paths lead through the forest. There are multiple carvings throughout the site and many, many trees were identified. There are two raised observation platforms, one...More

Our family tradition continued in 2016! We love taking our grandsons (and their parents) to Arbor Day Farm. Our grandsons, ages 7 and 5 love the Tree Adventure. This self-directed and self-paced adventure in a great connection with nature. Looking forward to next fall!
