Cute and affordable little park. Too bad vandals have forced the city to put up barbed wire around the animals and a cage around the statue of buffalo bill. Really a pleasant place to spend an afternoon.

Nice city park with a sort of mini zoo going on, complete with llamas. The ice cream is reputedly the best in town, when in season (memorial weekend thru labor day).

Shows the importance of the rail to moving goods all across the nation. It is an immense place which is surprising. Well worth the trip if one is interested in the railroad.

Pretty early in the season for Cody Park but was still nice to drive through with thousands of Wild Geese sitting all over the place. Still had a few other wild animals in their pens.

If you like historic railway equipment, this is a nice stop. The equipment is rare and very interesting. You have great access to explore the details of these large locomotives. There is not much in the way of interpretive signage. We should all appreciate that...More

We looked this up as a "fun stop" on our cross country road trip, and it did not disappoint my 4/6 year olds (or me). There were multiple playgrounds, plenty of open green space for running and frisbee, lots of animals to check out, and...More

We sought this out after visiting the rail yards tower. We were late in the afternoon and warned that it might be closed as the volunteers may close it up early if no one is there as it gets to be the end of the...More

Something for everyone is this park! In the spring & summer there are rides for the kids with an old fashioned carousel. The rides are very reasonable- 50 cents each or 5 tickets for $2.00. The food stand is very reasonable & has some of...More

We enjoyed seeing the train and the carousel and all the geese on the baseball field. (I'd hate to slide into base...) The animals in the zoo didn't look very happy in this small city zoo.
