We actually went into the Crystal Palace Saloon for a drink and some appetizers... Found out that the whole Front Street is connected inside so was fun to meander and see the museum and gift shop. Not busy, so we sat a bit and talked...More

We were taken by the different store fronts and had to have the pictures to prove that they were really there. The place was in good shape and the people in the places were very helpful to us.

I had the prime rib when I was there. Excellent! Slow roasted and very tender. Some of my companions were raving about the chicken fried steak which was huge. They don't short you, that's for sure. I'll eat here again when I'm in town.

We arrived to late to have dinner and show the same night, but no matter. Dinner was reasonably priced for delicious steaks with two sides. Lock your lips good! As an appetizer, we shared a basket of mountain oysters served with cocktail sauce. Our grandson...More

Saw some tripadvisor reviews and decided to have a good meal but it was not! They were so busy that the food was cold and the service rushed.

Just looked cheap to me. I really did not even think it was open. Just a bunch of fake store fronts across the street from a really cool exhibit of Petrified wood.

When you are stuck in Ogallala NE and it has rained for 3 solid days ...a free museum is always a good way to out of the RV and stretch your legs

Ate at the restaurant. It took over an hour to get our food, which was very average. Had the rib eye steak and I've had much better. Still, the food was decent if it didn't require such a long wait.
