Not so easy to find on our Satnav but remembered Mountain Street and drove there. It is gracious in a plain and simple way but it was oddly hidden down this unassuming side street, but maybe that is the effect of historical change

Beautifully done, in the heart of the old of the old section of Carson City. Halloween a favorite as the Governor and wife give out the candy to the little goblins.

Although this is a walk-by - and don't drive, walk there on the blue line trail through historic West Carson City. The entire blue line trail is only 2.5 miles, the beautiful historic houses reflect the West of the late 19th and early 20th century,...More

A magnificent turn of the century building. In a residential neighborhood. The neighborhood has several houses dating from the 1850 s and onward. Many stately trees. The area is very small and can be easily missed.

While just a drive-by, we had a lovely view of this fine old Carson City mansion, now the home of Nevada's Governors.
