First off I am not a golfer, but an avid cart driver who loves to explore new courses. First off the starter told us none of the rules of the course, second we were paired up with a regular. We were almost done when the Marshal confronted us about driving on the grass ( we were following the local) and... More

Desert Willow Golf Club is an executive par 60 layout (6 par 4’s & 12 par 3’s) that is part of the Sun City Macdonald Ranch development about twenty minutes south of downtown Las Vegas. This Billy Casper design features hilly terrain and large undulating greens with lots of water features; water comes into play on most holes. The pro... More

This is mostly a part 3 course. It's nearly kept and the employees are friendly. Prices are great. It has a restaurant next door. Greens are beautiful

This course is located in the foothills South of the Strip in Henderson, Nevada, about a 15 or 20 minute drive away. First, if you are from out of the area you can book a tee time on line, but will only have access to do so at two weeks out. We had no problem getting the time we wanted.... More

Chose Desert Willow for a family/friends round of golf after Thanksgiving. Was not disappointed -- course was in good condition; challenging pin locations; friendly staff. Only downside... a bit pricey for the 18-hole 'executive' experience. Bottom Line: Try it! You'll enjoy it!

I liked this course so much, I played it twice. The course is in good shape with very nice greens. The fairways were a little burnt in places, but it's hot and dry here. It is a short course with a few par 4s so I could get out my driver. I really enjoyed this place and the staff were... More

My wife and I played Easter Sunday afternoon as our 1st round on a vacation to Las Vegas. This course fit the bill perfectly to knock 5 months of golf rust off. Nice mix of distances for a par 60 course. Checkin was easy starters were very nice..beverage cart was running regularly. Course conditions were great with fairly quick greens.

Had to visit Desert Willow for Business and was treated to a Great lunch in their Cafe. Because the building is Sun City Anthiem's Community Center also many think it 's a private facility, it's open to the public.

this is one of our favourite golf courses and great for tuning up your short game. We highly recommend this course. The staff are professional and very friendly. The scenery is beautifull and the course is very well layed out. It's great as it's very close to us.

One of the best values for Golf around Las Vegas. It is only an executive course but I find it a great warm up when I haven't played for a number of months. We played behind a members tournament but the pace of play was fine. We finished in about 4 hours. The marshalls kept apologizing for the tournament but... More
