The views are scenic. Lake, mountains, beach and crystal clear water. This beach is much quieter that Sand Harbor. Picnic tables and grilling spots available. There were some geese on the beach but they didn't bother anyone. The beach was very clean. Pay to enter...More

We have to been to this beach many tines during Autumn and Winter and this was our first Summer visit to this beach. We went on a weekday about 12:30 - no crowds and no problem parking. Hubby dropped me off by entrance gate as...More

Great beach on the lake, good views of the snow cap mountains. Beaches are clean. It gets busy so go early. If you want to take your dog there is only one spot that dogs are allowed and you have to hike in about 1...More

This beach is clean, spacious, plenty of parking and perfect! The dog beach area at the south end is the best I have found. The sand is a little rough on the feet but it is a new favorite stop in Tahoe.

The beach and the trail leading to it are great with beautiful views of Lake Tahoe and the snow capped mountains. There is a fee to drive up and park close to the beach, but you can walk in using a paved trail from route...More

The sand was a little uncomfortable to walk on, not sure why. Great views, lots of beach and parking.

Hard to imagine a better public beach then this one. You can camp near the casinos, if that's you're thing, and still have easy access to an absolutely enormous natural sand beach. Everybody was kind, the campsites were pristine, and the facilities were spotless. I...More

We were visiting Lake Tahoe with our dog and asked about best dog beach close to Stateline and the hotel recommended this beach. It's right off Hwy 50 a mile or so North of Stateline. There's a parking lot with bathrooms and a paved path...More

I am not sure. It is near campgrounds and I don't believe it is fenced off or under ranger control except at the campground entrance. We walked from highway and saw no barriers.

If you plan to get a parking space, or even a spot on the beach plan to be their at 4:00am to 5:00am and stay there until 9:00 pm when the fire works go off. Honestly i live in the area and its not worth it.
