Such great bike paths and they are loaded with families of all ages on their bikes. You can ride to beaches and nature preserve and to campgrounds and ice cream store. They are well marked and smooth asphalt. Bring your bikes to Tahoe!

Sections of bike path exist, however, it's not complete so you must drive along busy Hwy 50 to get from Stateline to Baldwin Beach. With teenagers and younger, I worried about cars and the construction traffic. On busy summer weekends, it's completely unsafe. They need to form a path to enable bicycles to go all the way from one end... More

From Stateline, NV you can ride a bicycle all the way to S. Lake Tahoe and on over toward Emerald Bay on this bike path--we have done it many times and always enjoyed. The formal path starts in closer to Fort Richardson & Emerald Bay with a bike rental place there. (Most condos, motels provide free bikes.) It is a... More

We rode our bikes from Tahoe Keys to the beach at Camp Richardson. Nice easy bike ride relatively few hills and a wonderful beach at the end of our trail with new picnic benches and restrooms. Good bike ride for the family.

Nice place to meander on a family bike ride. A stop at the Camp Richardson ice cream parlor is a must!

This is a level, smooth trail that connects the beach area of Stateline with Nevada Beach and Round Pines Marina farther up the lakeshore. It passes a small lake, and goes on through meadows and pine forest. There were lots of wildflowers when we were there in mid-June. It's suitable for strollers, walking and jogging as well as biking. It... More

we love this bike path. It's paved for the vast majority of it and while there are some gradual inclines and declines it is still overall fun for everyone. Great views and beautiful scenery. Walk your bike on the inclines if you are so inclined.

We didn't spend much time here, but the day we spent walking the bike trails, exploring the woods and swimming in the lake at South Lake Tahoe was, by far, one of the best parts of our family vacation. This involved 2 parents and 3 "boys" 20 yrs - 18 yrs., but would have worked equally well for younger children.... More

What a wonderful way to get to great places! We stayed in a cabin right off the path. We walked or biked to Pope Beach, a mile away. We passed a gorgeous meadow and were able to bike right onto the beach. The path is mostly smooth and pretty wide. There are lots of places to stop - to look,... More
