Wonderful get away from the bustling Vegas Strip! The views of the Red Rock formations, the quite of the surroundings. Go west on 215. Follow the signs. And go during the morning of a weekday to have the trails to yourself!

Red Rock Canyon is a short ride from Las Vegas and well worth the trip. The day we went, admission was free (national holiday) which explains the crowds. It was difficult to find parking at the stop offs however, we managed. The landscape is breathtaking, colors striking. We did not see any wildlife (maybe too many vehicles and people). We... More

This relaxing drive into the dessert to view the wonderful sandstone mountains surrounding Las Vegas was well worth it and is also another free thing to do in Vegas. The beauty is simply amazing. Colors are so breathtaking.

My cousin who lives in CA recommended we go here (we are from UK). It's breath-taking! Its just a couple of hours drive from Vegas but the scenery and history here make it very worthwhile. Fantastic!

It is a very cool place to go and see there are big red rocks in the mountain ranges around there are beautiful it was about a half hour from the city. The bathrooms are Horrible in the Overlook area. You can just Uber there and if you want. Bring your camera there's a great place for photos

Went right after s big snow storm hit, it was a bit chilly but worth it. They have a beautiful water fall at Lost Creek and for the more advanced hiker I would recommend IceBox Canyon. Great view and boulder jumping, at the end is a beautiful waterfall!

The best time to go is around sunrise because the colours are incredible. You could easily spend the entire day hiking and checking out the sites.

Small very pretty easy area to get to. Easy drive, a loop drive, that you can sail through (at 25mph) or stop and do some hiking. Take some picture.

The was definitely worth the drive. Absolutely beautiful. We went in the early afternoon and the weather was perfect. The only thing that could have made it better was to see the park at sunset.
