We needed a hike that we could take our dogs and this park is super dog friendly. The rock formation and color are fantastic. The hike is challenging because the rocks can be slick with all the sand and water.

The scenery is so stunning. You must get out, hike around, and take a lot of pics. The second stop (the most red) was my favorite, but there is plenty to see along the way. This is so close to Vegas and at $7, you can't beat it.

We have been to Red Rock Canyon at least five times now - in different seasons & still see something new each time. This was the first time that we actually saw snow on some of the peaks! The employees are very knowledgeable & helpful so we always come away feeling we learned something new. The gift shop has many... More

This place is amazing. Easy to get to and just awesome to see. You can drive through the park or get out and walk around. The colors and the rock formations are inspiring.

Desert hiking is recommended sometime other than the hot summer months. We went in January, where the temperature was fine even though there was a stiff wind all day. The hiking trails are not particularly well-marked, but the scenery is starkly beautiful.

There are no words to describe the sight you'll see here. My friend and I hiked here twice and it was amazing. I would just stop, look at the mountains and say "wow." If you're not a hiker, you can take a scenic drive through it... it'll still be amazing. There are not enough words or quality in a picture... More

My wife and I are avid hikers, we're always looking for somewhere to hike. When we first moved out here less than a year ago we were thrilled when we saw that this was available to do and with me being military it was free. We were even more thrilled when we saw just how many different trails there are... More
