Very informative visitor center at the entrance to a beautiful area, which is full of wildlife and a great variety of trails to explore the mountains. The only issue with it being so close to Vegas is that there are groups of selfie-takers in their...More

was well worth the drive and $7 entry fee. Just wish I had more time as could have spent an entire day hiking around on the rocks. Absolutely beautiful

I always wondered where sandstone came from. That's the kind of stone that sculptures and ornaments on houses (old houses in Germany, of course). And it's so beautiful in its natural state. Worth a visit!

Even if you don't hike, it's a good half day trip to see this park. If you have a National Park pass, it applies to this parka s well. Hikes on well defined trails range form easy/short to difficult/long. Suggest you go early (park opens...More

Really fun experience if you get a chance to move away from the strip & enjoy a different side of Nevada. I would advise to go just before sunrise as it will be slightly cooler temperatures and the views at this time are amazing.

For $7, you get endless opportunities to take amazing pictures with breath-taking views. Definitely worth the drive and the time away from the strip. Oh, and watch out for the burros and tortoises!

If you want red rocks then this is the place for you. The canyon shows off rocks which change from a deep rusty red to near white in a few centimetres. The route is well laid out with the one-way section drive well maintained,

Some of the walks can last for hours as they are proper walks for hikers, if you just stick to driving round it's 13 miles around and you can stop as many times as you like, you don't have to stop at all the parking areas... More
