I honestly enjoyed this as much as the the London Natural History Museum. The advantage here being that it was lovely and quiet. The staff were friendly and even came and found us when they were showing snakes so my son could go and see....More

This afternoon I visited the LVNHM and was assisted by the very gracious Crysan, front desk clerk, when I joined the museum's annual membership program. She was gentle, funny and informative. The Museum is two levels and is bigger than it first appears. The Museum...More

This was a much bigger museum than I was expecting. It had a large variety of things in it. It was very well put together and maintained.

From dinosaurs to Egypt and various animals. Fun and full of great facts about all. $12 or $10 seniors and military. Great place for a couple of hours.

This Natural History Museum is small...but information filled museum. It has several areas of interest...sea life, Egyptian mummies...an active prehistoric exhibit...an more. Want to get away from the noise and lights of the strip for a while...check out this museum. The kids love it.

This is an off the beaten path hidden gem of North Las Vegas. It would work well in conjunction with a trip to the Neon sign museum, mob museum, downtown container park or Freemont Street visit. This is not on the strip and you would...More

Our four year old grandchild really enjoyed the visit. There were buttons to push that made dinosaurs roar and move. There were snakes and exotic creatures to pet. We were lucky enough to get to pet a visiting capybaras! Our baby enjoyed watching the fish...More

I have lived in Las Vegas for 10 years and never knew about this gem of a museum. It's a fun museum for all ages and we all learned something new. Lots of fun.

Two hours perhaps, although we've spent longer on our two visits there. Highlights: the Egyptian display, which some years ago was the display in the Luxor hotel (and then donated I believe to the museum). All reproductions... More
