What can you say about downtown apart from Fun!!!! So much going on worlds apart from the strip itself. Locals, young, old and families. Really enjoyable atmosphere. Very cheap, great live music and great for people watching. Best thing we have done since coming to...More

Son and I stayed on Fremont Street during our recent trip to Vegas. Had a great time. Lots to do and see within a very short 6 blocks. The neon lights are very interesting to see lite up at night.

You have not had the full Vegas experience until you have been to Fremont St. Great atmosphere, people watching is amazing. Lots of freaks out and about. The light show is great, music is good, make sure you get a football beer.

Las Vegas is much more than just the strip and going downtown is well worth the time and money. Very glad we went.

the night environment has some real wackos, there are several bands playing and all the casinos, I would not take children at night....

Say bye to the strip and go downtown and stay. The gambling is better, the food is just as good and cheaper, and it is a party 24-7! We will never ever go to the strip again!

Not a lot to do. We went in the day, would of been better at night with the lights. Wouldn't waste the taxi fare to go back.

The cheapest way to move around town is with Lyft or Uber - get the app on your smart phone - about 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of a cab. They will take you from the airport to the Hotel also. Shows - there are always discount... More
