- Camilla MStamford, Connecticut141 contributionsBeautiful but smells like old perfume and smokeLet me start by saying - absolutely stunning opportunity to walk back in time to when champagne flowed and beads sparkled. A very flapper, Gatsby feel. But there was an overwhelming smell (IDK if they pumped it in or what) of old perfume and smokeWe, THE COSMOPOLITAN Staff and Executive team, would like to thank you for your kind words. Our architects worked hard to make your stay, photos and experience a magical moment with every step inside. However, we apologize for anything that seemed a bit 'different'. - KGLuchner67 contributionsGreat location on the stripBeautiful hotel and casino. I was worried about the smoke permeating into the rooms, but there was no smoke smell in our rooms at all! We had a view of the Bellagio fountains and watched them from our balcony on several occasions. The restaurant and bar selection was great! Housekeeping checked our keys if we made it back to our rooms while they were in there so we really appreciated that little touch of extra security. We hope you enjoyed every moment here! Can't wait to see you again soon! Our security tries their hardest to add any additional support for your vacation & comfort. - craigshare2London, United Kingdom7 contributionsGreat location, service and facilities, couldn't want more for an easy holiday!Just planning my fifth visit to Vegas, had a 2 year break during Covid. I Married my girlfriend of 15 years in Vegas last year in the Cosmopolitan, I know, I took my time ;-) so retuning. Been to the Cosmo 3 times previously for holiday only from the UK. First visit to Vegas 2017 was the Luxor and that was also great, BUT a lot of walking. The Cosmo is located in such a great place right in the middle of the strip, never had a problem with any room, although TV reception can be a bit "iffy", the balcony is a plus as is the sunken bath and the view of the fountains (although I couldn't hear the music). In all I'd say on par a great place to stay and good value ( I did book a year ago), I obviously can't speak for those that have rated on the low side BUT some people do expect the earth without paying for it (Oh, it's my birthday, anniversary, wedding when at reception / booking in) and feel they don't get the comps! I'll be back in 73 days for a week of luxury for my first anniversary ;-)We're glad you had a phenomenal experience! Come back soon! - 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀 | 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘨Written 15 May 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited June 2022Written 10 April 2023

Fountain blue Resort 🌎 & hard rock with the Wynn/encore venitian all on the north end of the strip will make it the best part when everything is finished so either stay their or city center a great value hotel is park mgm no vip room but located next to aria in city center w restaurants Toshiba ctr t mobile arena etc. I go to Vegas 4/6 times a year so glad cosmo is under mlife mgmt.Visited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 13 July 2023
- Mohib IFederal Way, Washington1 contributionView is great but Hotel itself is lacking the basicsOnly positive is the view. First room we got smelled like Motel6. I was expecting more from Cosmo, bathroom smelled of urine, “happy” stains on bed bench, freezer looked like ice cream or something orange bursted. Stains on the mini bar. We tried to let this not bother us but we couldn’t, called the front desk and arranged for a different room. Next room was better but still not what I expected. Wife was not happy that you had to walk back and forth from bathroom to living area to apply make up since the only mirror available is the small on the wall in bathroom. Make up standing up I guess. Would I be staying here again? If I was traveling solo probably, only for the view. One of the best views imo with the terrace you can hear the Bellagio fountain it can get loud at night. They don’t have a buffet for dinner, you’ll have to walk over to Bellagio. No coffee maker in room.Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 July 2023

Terrible hotel and mismanaged from the top to the bottom
We found glass on the shower floor on Saturday morning. We couldn't use the bathroom or shower that day on an important day for our family. We called Guest services, and the front desk 3x. With little to no help from their security department, we were forced to cancel our meetings and appointments due to the negligence of the hotel management and house keeping. When we went to Security to file a report, they then bullied us into trespassing and was going to have us thrown out. After spending $500+ per night, we were treated with the utmost hostility and lack of empathy from the entire staff. The staff are not happy to be working and they take it out on their paying guests. I will not reccomend this hotel to anyone. It's better to support another establishment and that treats their guests like humans. 0/5. Will not go back and avoid at all costs. Wynn hotel or the Venetian are the better options. If you google Meek Mill trespassed, you will see the lawsuit against cosmo in 2019. Nothing has changed since.

Major let down, arrived for a one night stay since we double booked at Nomad. Decided to stay one night at the cosmo and do the balcony suite facing the fountains. Got into a room surveyed the room. First thing we noticed was the door knob to the water closet was following off. Upon opening the door there was dried up urine/vomit on the toilet. As we walked to the balcony food crumbs on the floor. Been coming to Vegas since 2013 about 1-4 times per year. This is the 2nd time I left a hotel without actually staying there the first was Circus Cirus back in 2013.
Luckily we were double booked at Nomad a went back there.

Certainly, here's your 2-star review:
Recently visited this trendy bar within a cosmopolitan hotel. The Clique!
The hosting staff were super friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, the experience took a downturn with the bar staff. They came across as ignorant and rude, making us feel like a hindrance to their Socker TV-watching! While the drink choices were good, they were overpriced and left a nasty taste in our mouths when we had to leave minimum 18% tip for the ‘service’ The atmosphere was also disappointingly smoky. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I would not go back or recommend this place which is a shame having loved it so much or previous visits! You’ve let us down Cosmopolitan !

I’m total, we were moved into 3 rooms. 2 had black visible mold in the showers & smelled bad. The 3rd room was nice: however, we were locked out of our rooms 4 times because of the key cards not working. Rather than offering customer service, every staff member said “you can walk downstairs & get yourself another key.” NEVER staying here again. After going to the spa we were locked out for 30+min & that was after talking to house keeping, concierge, security, & guest services. WTF!!!! Luxury my ass.

We got married in Las Vegas and stayed at The Cosmopolitan for 5 days. I always stay here but, never again. The service was horrible by the Boulevard Pool my entire stay. Tyler the only bartender at the pool was the rudest, most condescending service employee I ever had the bum luck to deal with. The wait was over 45 minutes at the pool bar, the waitress (why is there only 1)? NEVER ONCE came to take my groups order and for the price, it's shameful. What happened to service??? The busiest pool in the very busy Cosmopolitan has only 1 bartender and a huge line, wait? Sounds like some management needs to be adjusted and Tyler should be replaced. I did not pay this much for Tyler to give everyone an attitude about doing his job.

4 nights in this hotel & we wished we were there for a lot longer , but we were on a road trip around California.
Absolutely superb, amazing, stunning huge, clean, friendly staff.
We had a suite on the 45 floor with stunning views across the strip & surrounding area.
It was spotless, the bed was the best, we just loved it. It was perfect to come back to after a long busy day on the strip.
Loads of places to eat inside the hotel, the little secret pizza parlour is a must, if you can`t find it just ask someone as it isn`t listed anywhere.
Would stay here again it was amazing.

so I just came back from a 4 night stay at cosmo. arrived Monday night and left Friday morning ..had comped terrace 1 br with fountain view....100 bucks resort credit and $50 fp from my host added on.
played all slots....mostly either in the hl room or just outside it....
had 37k coin in and 30k identity points.
lost 8k.
total room bill was $1600
half of that was spa for the wife.
host only comped off about 200 of the bill.
is this low end for my play??
I was expecting at least all the food charges to be wiped off but not even close.
I understand if the play doesn't warrant the spa charges but for roughly the same play and/or loss at the v/p i get more fp and dining credit and no bill on check out except for spa if the wife is with me.
anyone with idea on what my theo is at cosmo. I can easily figure it out when I play at venetian
cosmo won't tell me.
perhaps they just really value their comp rooms much more than v/p???
anyone have similar experience with this amount as play and comps??
thanks.

Sounds like you had a great deal. I have stayed many times as
Well as my family. You can’t compare
V/p to this hotel. All of the restaurants at v/p are leased out and the quality at the Cosmo is higher. It sounds like you had a good time you just want your questions answered. Maybe your casino host won’t answer your question but someone else will clear the matter. Call the Cosmo and ask for Mario Mangini. He will give you directions who to turn to.
Bonjour,Denis,

Hi they do not charge you but do hold 150 USD on your credit card when arriving at hotel x 4. They will release funds when you leave as long as you have not charged any thing to your room. Please be aware of the resort fee u will get on leaving which is just under 40 USD per day per room which will be deducted from your credit card on leaving. Super hotel great location very plush have a great time very envious!! 😎😎
