We visited here as part of an organised day out and spent just over an hour looking round. You can access the gift shop and the battlefield for free but if you want to look around the interactive visitor centre you have to be a...More

The moor itself is very interesting with flags and place markers where the battle took place and the various clan dead mostly were buried. We were charged parking yet could have parked round the corner for free, the visitor centre was artificial and false. The...More

Love coming to Culloden, always feel very emotional about the gallant highlanders and the aftermath of this battle. Great visitor centre and very well presented. If only.

I wasn't sure what to expect here. I was pleasantly surprised at the efforts put forth at this visitors centre. It's very well done. Extensive information and artifacts. Walk the paths around the battlefield and get and view the clan stones. Very emotional under the...More

Walking around with the guide made for a very historic morning. Understand what occurred and how the people of the times stood up for their beliefs was truely emotional. We both found our clan markers. Make sure you do the guided tour

It’s one of those placed you just have to visit even though I didn’t find the exhibits to be that great or inspiring I was happy that I made the journey.

No. The ticket you buy at the visitor center is for admission to that facility and the battlefield. We had a car so we drove. Ask your hotel. Have you tried Uber?
