Good for an afternoon on a nice day

Decent number of animals and lots of information available. Not all animals where there in November. Good for about 2 hours of fun.

Spent a brilliant day here. Canada's wildlife that everyone talks about but you never see is here. Go see as soon as you can.

My daughters (1.5 & 3) had a fantastic time here! The animals seem very well taken care of and have lots of space. The park is clean and its easily walk-able; even with small children! Would definitely recommend a visit.

We are repeat visitors as we live locally. My kids are 6 and 4 and enjoy the animals and the playground. The recent food concession addition is welcome as the next nearest place to purchase food is a ten minute car ride away. If you need a stroller they can lend you one. Also, the best time to go is... We visited the park on 14th September 2016, and had a wonderful few hours there. The Animals and Birds are well cared for with plenty of pace in there enclosures and everything is clean and tidy. The staff there are very friendly and helpful, we spent time with chatting about various animals , birds and there enclosures, especially when they... More

We saw a sign on the highway for this animal park and decided to give it try. The place is clean, has huge enclosures and the animals look well cared for. Peacocks wander all over the place as you walk around the spacious facility. They have stations where you can buy feed for the ducks(there's lots of them). There are... More

We went at 5pm when it was nice and quiet. Great value at CAN$4.75 per person. Animal welfare clearly highly on the agenda as the cages / enclosures were large. We loved seeing the moose, black bears and beavers. Very impressed.

Stopped in here for a last minute time killer and was well worth it. Lots of variety, great price and just long enough of a walk

My husband and I went here and had an awesome time. The facility is wonderful and there is a great variety of animals. It's great value for the small price of admission. Bring quarters as there are food dispensers for certain animals. We didn't use the picnic park but it looked lovely with places to dispose of charcoal and a... More

We only had a week in Nova Scotia and didn't know if there was anywhere nearby where we could see moose, beaver, wolf or bear until a local in Halifax told us that she liked taking her children to Shubenacadie Wildlife Park. We checked the map, realised it was only about a 40 minute drive out of Halifax up the... More
