Museum was more of a jewelry store.

The part that was considered a museum was semi precious stones, raw gold, turquoise and various old coins. It was interesting in its own right.

While you're in town you might as well stop by, it's free and interesting. It's near the downhill end of the city and has a little set of steps, only 5 or 6, - the kind that you see going over fences. Up the stairs to a landing then a set of stairs down the other side. We had a... More

The museum had some interesting information and specimens ( gold nuggets) on display. The price of their coins is a little exaggerated but I guess that is because it is a tourist attraction.

The museum was pretty interesting and they have some really nice jewelry. Rather pricey but this is a tourist town in Nevada. Lots of silver in various quantities and other shiny and sparkly things.

When I walked in I thought I was in the wrong spot the front is a jewelry store go to the store and to the right to go in to the museum. I was disappointed because you can't take pictures of all the big nuggets and gemstones from around the world but they were neat to see some nice examples... More

The Marshall Mint has a lot of quality silver from jewelry to coins and bullion. As I was walking around I came upon a case with silver money clips. I had lost my original silver money clip several months ago and have been looking for a replacement. They had clips with silver quarters, half dollars and Morgan silver dollar. I... More

Interesting rocks and mineral collection. Nice jewelry that is made locally. I think there price on silver is high but not a silver collecter.
