This is one of my favorite places. In the summer and fall we take our dogs hiking here, and in the winter we cut down our Christmas tree here. Everyone who works at The Rocks is extremely pleasant and accommodating--if you're visiting the area, especially on a weekend around the holidays, a trip to The Rocks is highly recommended--get your... Visited her with a bus tour. Had an excellent presentation on moose and bear in NH. Very interesting, and entertaining! Learned a lot about both animals, as well as Christmas trees. Highly recommend stopping her for an hour or two. Great views too.

When we were there, the whole place was closed, although the brochures indicated that they should be open. We saw some of the tree plantings at various stages, and the outside of some of the buildings.

I have attended a number of special functions at the Rocks and always had a great time. Have also cut my own Christmas trees, and purchased pre-cut trees and always got a great one. The hiking trails are really good and are generally OK for all hikers, including novices. The Maple Experience is good too.

The Rocks Estate knows how to host a Maple Tour. From the greeters in the parking lot to the staff helping sign guests in and Tanya and David (who taught us a thing or two about maple sap harvesting) everything was wonderful. The horse drawn wagon ride was narrated very well. The Sugar Shack tour was well designed with small... More

We went here in March and did a taste of maple tour. Beautiful estate. Maples tapped everywhere. They showed us and let us tap a tree and hang a bucket for collection. We got to taste the sap that makes syrup. Took a hay ride. Watched an evaporator boil down the sap into syrup, learned so much. My kids had... More

We spent almost 4 hours at the Rocks Estate this morning. Book your tour time ahead to avoid waiting. $15 covers all the tours, rides and a tasting. We had a 20 minute indoor presentation with video and then learning to identify different types of maples. Then a tree-tapping lesson and talk before a horse drawn carriage ride with a... More

While the people are friendly and helpful and they have beautiful wreaths and a lovely little gift shop finding a 7ft full tree proved to be an almost impossible task. There was acres of trees but row after row they came in between 5 & 6ft. It generally seemed they had done a lot of cutting of trees and if... More

Go by yourself, as a couple or as a family you won't be disappointed. You don't have to go just to buy a tree as there is plenty to see and do. Select and cut your own tree or buy one already cut. Don't need a tree? Buy a fresh wreath. Check out the gift shop and spend some time... More
