Great small theatre

My wife & I go to at least one or two events a year. It could be an old movie, a new movie we missed, or a performer/concert. You can't beat the prices.

I have been to many shows and movies at the Colonial. Its just a great place to see a movie. For live music there isn't a bad seat in the place. They are always bringing in great performers.

We had made a trip to Mount Washington for the day to get away from the Boston heat wave, and stayed the night in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. In driving through town, noticed the Colonial Theater. When we checked into the Wayside Inn, I picked up a flyer of shows, and there was one scheduled for that night. Although I'd never... More

The theatre is everything that Bethlehem NH is about - has great acts, it's artistic, it's eclectic, it's a ton of fun, and it's the best place to see a show. theatre is small so there's not a bad seat in the house. Drinks are cheap. Bottled water is free. Blankets are available for those chilly nights, and everyone always... More

Modernized for comfort and technology, The Colonial, presents a wonderful film and live entertainment to compete with metropolitan theaters. Great refreshments to compliment great presentation. When visiting the northern reaches of New Hampshire in the spring, summer or fall, don't miss the Colonial. Great resturants abound, one right across the street.

This theater may be the oldest continual running in the country. They have a multitude number of diverse events: art movies; little known, but excellent, movies; events and films in cooperation with local and regional not-for-profit organizations; live acts and music; and many more. They present cultural events and and some events are no charge. (Though, donations may be accepted for... More

Helpful and interesting to talk to. We live about 3 hours away and are definitely going to be returning for other events. The town of Bethlehem... More

Lovely old theatre venue celebrating their 100th year in business! Saw Gaelic Storm performance. Excellent. Very friendly staff of volunteers, excellent acoustics, comfortable seats, lots of leg room. On street parking. No problem finding a space. Will definitely go back!
