Fantastic Family Place! A Concord gem right off the highway!

I attended a birthday party for my niece. Excellent parking, great venue, wonderful staff and the birds of prey! An amazing time for ages young and old!

The center has several interesting and informative things to do. The main building has some exhibits, a classroom and a nice gift shop. The gift shop has a lot of nice things tied to nature including books, t-shirts, cards, souvenirs, etc. The website has a calendar of events that you can explore. In another building, you can see birds of... More

The center is located just a couple of miles from where I-89 and I-93 intersect. You start at a headquarters building that features a small gift shop and educational exhibits, including several live turtles. Then you can hike on a selection of nature trails through forest, grassland, and pond environments. It's a great break from more cultural attractions.

This is a VERY FAVORITE place for our grandchildren! The staff is friendly and a wealth of information! The kids especially enjoyed watching the owls and falcon being feed!

Came here on a date, it was really fun. Wear boots if you come in the spring. Very well maintained. Will come again.

Went here for a hike and was so surprised to see all it had. Several trails and loops around the pond and wildlife, A tree house in the middle of the woods. Boardwalks, bridges etc. Nicely taken care of trails. Then we went inside and there was a small museum like room with stuffed animals. Very kewl. Then they had... More

The McLane Audubon Center in Concord, NH is a wonderful place to take walks on trails in the woods. The Center has interesting live animals inside to observe and an outdoor raptor mews which includes a Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Screech Owl, and Barred Owls. Pick a nice day for an outdoor walk and you will not be... More

It is the kind of place for one to tune down anxiety , in other words...peace.There are many venues to explore and trails galore. The wildlife sanctuary is certainly an eye opening experience,a first for me and I shall return, really worth the easy effort to find.

Free (they take donations) place to see several raptors that have been rehabilitated and cannot be released including a peregrine falcon and a bald eagle. There are several informational areas inside the building and some live animals to view. The trails on the property are pleasant and provide an easy walk for little kids.
