The Saco River covered bridge (We love searching out covered bridges and waterfalls) is along the Saco River and accessible via the campsite. It's one of many, and quite nice - if you're into this stuff.

Water was low, but still beautiful. We took many pictures and there were many people doing the same! If the water was just a little higher, it would have been perfect, but still, it was great! Beautiful

The three big rental companies in the area all drop you off at first bridge and have different spots along the river to take out at. While rafts and tubes are offered, I believe the river... More

My family rented two canoes and a kayak yesterday August 16, 2016 at Seco bound in Conway New Hampshire. It was a beautiful day and extremely crowded. The process getting onto the river was chaotic but not nearly as bad as trying to get off the river at the pig farm for the bus pick up at 5 PM. They... More

A lot of fun to take the whole family out on the river and spend the day there. Rope swings and beaches along the way

Put your canoe in at Fryberg, Maine and head downriver. You can do a day trip or an overnight. Camping on sandbars is the way to go. If you pitch your tent in the woods, you'll sleep with the mosquitos. The river is flat except for one small section of rapids, which is easy to navigate. If you paddle west... More

It's nice to dip your toes in the water on a hot summer day. Our dog especially liked taking a break at the waters edge.
