I've been here a few times with my two young daughters. It is a real easy walk and they really enjoy it. Its is a micro environment like a mini rainforest. Off season, anytime besides the July bloom, it is very quiet.

Larger than I thought it would be. Cool trails. Natural setting. Unfortunately they were not in bloom yet. Nice short hike.

My daughter and I both love Rhodies and decided to take this trip. It was well worth it.. well thought out hiking path with large stands of these glorious bushes. Cool and calming.

We stopped here to hike the moderate trail to Little Monadnock summit (2.4 r/t) as a warm up to our planned hike of Mt. Monadnock the next day. From the summit of Little Monadnock you can see Grand Monadnock in the distance. We encountered only a few others on the trail but it was a pleasant hike and worth doing... More

This place is a gem and should be a stop if you nearby. It is a perfect place to walk with the young and the old to enjoy a natural setting and easy path to follow. Rhododendrums are next to you, on top of you, in front of you, and when they bloom (in late July), they are so beautiful.... More

This was a fun place to visit, but difficult to locate, as our GPS wasn't able to easily find the location. Once we found signs, however, we managed to get to the park. It's a small park with beautiful path ways, and the flowers were still in bloom. It was peaceful, and quiet, and all the people we came into contact... More

I was the only one in the park on a Friday morning in late January. It was pretty cool running down the main trail with all of the Rhododendrons drooping. I bet is it something else in full bloom. There had been a number of hikers out on the trails which were well packed down. I wore micro-spikes which gave... More

This is a great little park if you are in the area. Would I drive 100 or even 50 miles out of my way for it, probably not. If I was in the area, looking for a hike/walk in the woods or a place to picnic, I would definitely consider it. Now I went in early/mid June and no Rhododendrons... More

We ran the loop twice hunting for smurfs. Trails are smooth, flat and fast. Little Monadnock trail goes off of this trail.

We visited the Rhododendron State Park in Fitzwilliam, NH while we were visiting family in nearby MA. It was a little hard to find since we were not familiar with the area. According to the information we read, it was supposed to be within the blooming season when we went. However, we saw maybe three blooms in the whole place.... More
