Second time to Cannon. This time was a three day trip. It allowed for more exploration. The new Bode Miller training facility was outstanding for racers. The terrain varies a lot, and offers something for every ability.

The Aerial Tramway ride to the top of Cannon was great and very scenic. At the top of the mountain is a deck to restaurant and deck to relax and check out the beautiful scenery. There are nice walking trails around the top of the mtn.too.

Skied Cannon Mountain on a Friday during a snowstorm in late March 2017. It was fantastic. First off...no one was on the hill so I practically had the mountain to myself. Cannon sits at the northern edge of Franconia Notch (trails face north to northeast) making it a prime target for storms to dump a ton of snow there. It... More

Cannon Mountain has a reputation as a skiers mountain, and it seems to attract a more serious skier. The mountain can also be windy and icy, but on a powder day, or a nice sunny day with no wind it is great skiing. And if one stops the views are great. There are many challenging trails on the upper mountain,... More

It's not the Rockies, but it's part of the distinctive White Mountains and just as special. I have a history with this place as a New Hampshirite -- camping, hiking, swimming and fishing in Profile Lake, rescuing my Springer Spaniel after he fell in the nearby creek and nearly drowned -- but that's another story. The views are beautiful, and... More

Took our 2 teen sons skiing here. This is the place to be if you do not want the gaudyness of the popular mountains. People here come to ski and be with friends. Weather was poor so our kids skiied non stop with no lines. The pub was excellent. We sat at the bar d.and never felt that we overstayed... More

Besides for the beautiful mountain and great condition of the ski rental equipment, the thing that I loved most about the place was the staff. From the way they match you with the gear to the ski instructors, their helpfulness and friendliness made it a truly amazing experience!

Great Mountain and a friendly staff. The shuttle bus service was great and a short ride from parking lot to the Tram. The clam chowder in the base lodge was homemade and delicious.

Cannon and the surrounding area are beautiful. Skiing is more iffy. On a great day, with the views, amazing. Other days, not so much.
