This beach is ranked as one of the best in the country and I love it too. However as a woman with mobulity impairments, I have issues that never affected me when I was young and able. Whenever we visit Hampton beach, I am very greatful for my handicap placard.I need access to places because I cannot walk far. In my 30s, I could walk the whole beach. No longer the case. Now I am happy there is a bench where I can see the ocean. The problem I have is that the only accessible bench I know of is directly next to the public bathrooms.. Rarely do I need to be that close.

The bathroom and amenities are closed as of off season, but the deep sandy beach, especially at low tide is great. Gaze at the waves. Take a stroll. Watch people. A nice spot.

Its a nice place to visit and relax, nothing is better than being close to the ocean. When we visited it was to cold to go swiming. So right across the beach they have a lot of shops and restuarants.

You can walk for miles on the sand or on the boardwalk. Shops and restaurants are everywhere, too. Don't miss the sand castle competition on Labor Day weekend!

Blue sky, gentle waves on a beautiful day. Seems the beaches are Miles long and miles deep - especially when the tide goes out!
