THE BEST
Sep 2019
Best chocolates ever!! I always come here while on vacation and stock up!! The chocolate covered cherries/ white chocolate are amazing....Great quality and the staff is friendly but very SLOW. This was Sanborns under a new name now but still has the same chocolates!! Worth a visit, i even order for the holidays and have everything shipped when I'm not here.

Wonderful sweets shop worth a visit
Jul 2019 • Family
Formerly Sanborn's Candies. New owner was employed by the family for 21 years. All there are lovely Sanborn's-made treats: handmade chocolates, pastel hostess mints, peanut brittle, caramel popcorn and fudges. Wide selection of salt water taffy, maple candy made from local maple farm, and range of gift packaging which I think make sweet gifts for hostesses and for visitors alike. As in any homemade candy shop, Boston baked beans, gummi bears and other candies that fill the shelves are made by other long-standing companies in the business for many decades. Delightful staff. The little lemon wedge "slightly sour" candy (now one of my faves) is a wonderful compliment to the sweeter traditional fruit slices. The lovely chocolate fragrance unique to homemade shops and the nostalgic experience does not disappoint.

NAME CHANGE ALERT! Sanborn's is now Huckleberry's-- same candies, new name
Jun 2019 • Friends
This is a delightful store-- I've been going since it was known as Sanborn's. Mr Sanborn sold the business to his long-time manager and the name was changed. But it's the same products and the same lovely people behind the counter.

Great chocolate with a large variety to choose from
Feb 2019 • Solo
Friendly service and always a great selection of sweets to choose from. I especially like the plain chocolate selections and many of my relatives really enjoy the fudge. Not inexpensive but good chocolate never is. Oh yeah, discount if you pay cash.

Always!

We always come here, it’s our favorite hotel in Hampton beach! Especially when you compare the price of other hotels in the area, I personally feel it’s the best. Parking on and off site (across the street). The double room suites are what I would recommend, especially on the top floor if you like star gazing.

Mmmmmmm....good!

The smell alone may just be enough to satisfy your chocolate needs but don't let that stop you from taking inventory of all the cases full of chocolate delights. Seasonal novelties are always available, not to mention cellophane bags with tasty goodies ready for the car ride home. Frozen bananas are a summer fixture, giving way to Taffy apples in the Fall. If you miss the shop in Hampton center, there is one on the boardwalk at Hampton Beach.

Satisfies The Sweet Tooth
May 2018
Sanborn's quality and variety can't be beat. Located right on Route 1 in Hampton next to the CVS plaza, they have everything from chocolates (milk or the bittersweet darker kind), licorice, saltwater taffy, gumballs, jellybeans or just about any other candy you can think of. They make it themselves and they do it right. If you have a sweet tooth that needs to be satisfied, try Sanborn's, it'll take care of that nicely.

Great products

Best almond bark around. Great handmade products at a reasonable price. Are they as cheap as a boxed chocolate that are mass produced, no, but the quality is worth the additional cost. Well worth a visit.
