First time skiing...so had to learn ! the staff around the resort is super nice and helpful. The place is small , so not too crowded. Mostly locals. The slopes are plenty for beginners , and some harder ones for experienced ones. The motel was walking distance, so very convenient. It was a great first experience, and we will go... More

We had a fantastic new years eve weekend ski trip with three kids and four adults. Pats Peak is a very organized, well-groomed mountain. Kids were in a private one hour lesson the first day we were there. The instructors gave one of the best lessons our kids have had a ski mountain. They all loved their instructors. No wait... More

I have been skiing at Pat's Peak since 1972. They are a family friendly resort with varied trails that are attractive to both beginners and experts. Their trails are not the longest out there but they do have some very steep ones. They listen to their customers and are always improving their facility which is a concept not followed by... More

Skied and patrolled there for years. It is a small area that is a great family option for a day, night of skiing or a time tubing

This is a small mountain and PERFECT for a family with young children, or for locals who like to ski. With night skiing available midweek, kids and families can ski after school. The mtn has a bunch of local actvities for people to get involved with like "learn to ski programs" for schools...(which is OK for non skiers who want... More

We have 8 and 6 year old girls and typically ski in Vermont for long weekends and smaller CT and Mass mountian for day trips. We were looking for a smaller, family mountain for a long weekend and took Pats Peak on a recommendation from a friend. The ride from Hartford area was 2 1/2 hours...much quicker than i thought.... We had a wonderful time at Pat's Peak - The conditions were excellent, despite little real snow this year. The trails were well groomed and covered. The mountain is great for beginner skiers (2 different magic carpets and one lift to a green run) and intermediate skiers (multiple lifts), and has a bunch of black diamond trails to keep the...
