If you do not have the correct hiking shoes I would recommend buying a pair before the climb. Once to the top the view is spectacular. Good place to bring a picnic and sit when at the top.

The Old Man may be gone but the Indian Head is still there. Quite frankly it is a pretty cool rock formation. The gift shop is big and full of lots of useless stuff... ok that's subjective because a lot of it is quite unique...More

this is a excellent hotel nestled in the white mountains with a excellent view of the Indian head face - the food is also 5 star - has a heated outside pool, paddle boats on their own body of water

Well the Head has not changed a lot. Nice quiet farming community.....very clean and lots of trees. The crops need a lot of moisture. Enjoy small town Saskatchewan.

Great location surrounded by beautiful mountains, some fun things to do on site like pool, paddleboats, tennis, observation tower; needs a facelift as it was probably spectacular 20 years ago. Like a maze navigating around inside the buildings. Smoke alarm chirped in middle of night...More

We have come to Indian Head Resort before with my family, and as a kid I also came here with my family. My latest visit with my family however was disappointing. It started when upon arrival the keys didn't work to open up the door....More

So we were able to climb the tower for $1. There were tons of stairs, about ten flights. The view was amazing. We were able to take some really nice pictures.

New Hampshire's sense of identity was shattered when the Old Man's face slid off into a pile of rubble. Fortunately, there's still Indian Head, another accidental outcropping that vaguely looks like a head. Identity saved.

Though it is far from luxurious, it definitely gets the job done. Always seems clean. Food is tasty and affordable.
