New Hampshire's sense of identity was shattered when the Old Man's face slid off into a pile of rubble. Fortunately, there's still Indian Head, another accidental outcropping that vaguely looks like a head. Identity saved.

3-4 miles round trip. Easy terrain, but breathtaking views. We went during fall, the surroundings were so beautiful. Also we started around 8 in the morning, therefore there were very few hikers at that time.

A wonderful place to visit. It also has very good food in their resturant. A family atmosphere. A feel safe place.
